Department of Business, Enterprise, Technology and Science (BETS) commissions Access’ expertise

Manchester based integrated agency, Access has won the contract to manage and deliver two Welsh Government campaigns starting later this month, November 2011.

The purpose of both campaigns for the Welsh Government’s Department of Business, Enterprise, Technology and Science (BETS), is to promote entrepreneurship and highlight the support offered by BETS to help enterprises and small businesses in Wales.

During Business Advice Week teams of business advisors will be on hand in the twelve locations to meet business owners and managers in confidential, face-to-face meetings designed to diagnose their business needs and ensure they access the appropriate support and advice available to help their future needs.

This is not the first Welsh Government initiative for Access.  The team recently delivered a hard-hitting awareness campaign highlighting the affects of domestic abuse, in a campaign forming part of the Welsh Government’s ‘Right to be Safe’ agenda.

The latest win, in a bid handled by the Central Office of Information (COI) sees the Access team deliver a comprehensive online, PPC and radio advertising campaign, to support the programme of activity around Global Entrepreneurship Week, 14th to 18th November. The team is also managing the creative elements for the Welsh Government’s presence at the Great British Business Show from the 17-18th November and Business Advice Week which runs from the 28th November to the 2nd December.

Access Managing Director, Simon Landi commented: “This latest win is a testament to Access’ proven track record and creativity in providing effective and integrated campaigns.

“We’re delighted to be working with the Welsh Government on this project to nurture fledgling businesses in Wales, which we’re sure will deliver some excellent results for the department.”
