Marketing Cheshire – Brand Refresh

Case Study

The Question:

Taking the traditional tourist board model and extending their remit to include 'place marketing' for the region, amalgamating Visit Chester & Cheshire, Cheshire & Warrington Enterprise Partnership, three local authorities and several key private sector organisations - how do we create a new brand attracting people to Cheshire, looking to visit, invest, work or live whilst taking with us the numerous businesses in Cheshire who are already adoptees of the established Visit Chester & Cheshire brand?

The Answer:

Use in-depth knowledge of travel and tourism in the region, 'place marketing' in the North West and previous successful campaigns to evolve the brand. Create a watertight rationale, refresh the brand and make sure every member of the tourist board comes along for the ride.

The Result:

The new design has already been used successfully to promote Celebrate Cheshire, an inaugural event marketing the region to inward investors.
