Access goes global with Hydratight

  —   22 May 2011   —   Access News

Access Advertising Marketing and Design has been appointed by global bolting solutions provider Hydratight to manage the company's branding and advertising around the world.

Hydratight has over 100 years experience in the delivery of a comprehensive range of mechanical products for fastening, connecting or lifting; ensuring the integrity of bolted connections on equipment used in many industrial processes from power generation through to oil and gas production.

Hydratight, part of leading global manufacturer Actuant Corporation since 2005 is a large-scale business operating from over 27 offices around the world, from locations as diverse as Brazil and Qatar. The company is market leader in the Tensioning sector, which totals $55 million globally per annum.

Access will provide market planning consultation on Hydratight's core brand communications, and working alongside the company's marketing department and product managers, will develop a range of marketing communications materials including literature, advertising, digital and DM for the company's product lines and service centres.

Access is also charged with creating a new brand identity for Hydratight which demonstrates the size and capabilities of the company and the extent of its offering; developing a consistent brand hierarchy which ties together the company and all its brands, products and services.

Access won the contract following a two-way pitch and was appointed Hydratight's global agency due to their strategic thinking and their original and imaginative approach to the company's re-branding strategy.

Neil Curtis, Global Leader Marketing for Hydratight comments on their decision: "Access' presentation and their approach to the brief really set them apart. They really got to grips with the company and provided tangible solutions which can be implemented. And from their first project which has already been completed, I am confident that they will deliver on their promises."

Simon Landi, Managing Director at Access comments on the win: "This new win is a big coup for us. With Hydratight being a global business, it allows us the opportunity to deliver on a much bigger level, and across many languages, further building our reputation for providing high quality creative solutions on time and within budget."
